Мы не поддерживаем данную идею взаимоголосования, это не отражает истинных заслуг, музыку нужно слушать, чувствовать и голосовать лишь за то,что действительно этого заслуживает. Баллы - не показатель мастерства, когда наш проморанк был 1,наши миксы были все теми же, что вы видите сейчас. Как мы видели, многие на сайте с низким проморанком побеждали на различных фестивалях и работы их великолепны, так что не гонитесь за баллами.

Интерес к R&B у меня появился еще в школьные годы, правда тогда я предпочитала медленные грустные треки, но с возрастом мой вкус поменялся, и сейчас мне больше по душе более быстрые и живые ритмы данного направления, те,под которые можно здорово зажечь на танцполе. Свою карьеру я начала с клуба Дабар в Екатеринбурге, потом играла в ПВ, что находился тогда в здании Совкино, была частым гостем в кафе Сливки, пока не стала резидентом R&B Club в Хургаде) И сейчас мы играем только дуэтом!) потому что людям это нравится)

Да, кстати, мы никогда не используем компьютерные программы при ремиксах и питч при сведении в R&B, также мы не одобряем совмещение акапеллы какого-либо трека с минусом собственного произведения или взятым из другого трека в R&B музыке (что называется мэшап mash up или бутлег bootleg), что мы одобряем при создании ремикса в R&B - это наложения инструментала или бэкграунда одного трека на другой оригинальный трек, оставленный без измениений, т.е. без изъятия оригинальной музыки причем не на всем протяжении трека; и что касается скретча, наше мнение, им  не стоит злоупотреблять и делать на него акцент при игре R&B. Также мы не согласны с мнением некоторых людей,которые говорят, что диджей обязан создавать собственную музыку. Диджей создает миксы,музыкант пишет музыку, исключение только в том случае, когда диджей является еще и профессиональным музыкантом, но просим, не думайте что мы пишем музыку или поем,мы просто играем. К тому же мы не думаем, что кто-то в нашей стране способен создать качественные R&B треки. Тот, кто может прочувствовать данное направление музыки, сможет выбрать треки с одинаковым ритмом и похожей мелодией и будет знать, что и с чем лучше играть! Мы предпочитаем сохранять оригинал песен ,как он есть! Также мы верим, что Hip-Hop - это часть R&B, потому что хип-хоп представляет собой смешение стилей Rap и Jump Blues. WHAT IS R&B?

American Rhythm and Blues (R&B) arose during the post World War II years to provide an important link between jump blues and Rock and Roll and by the late 1950s Soul.Rock&Roll(Also known as Rock 'n' Roll)is a form of music that evolved in the United States in the late 1940s and early 1950s.It's roots lay mainly in Blues,Country,Rhythm and Blues,Folk and Gospel music.The style quickly spread to the rest of the world and developed further,leading ultimately to modern Rock music. Welding the raunch of Jump Blues legend Amos Milburn on to a threadbare chassis of shuffling Rhythms and concise songs, the biggest R&B stars of the 50s made records that came from the Blues but aimed for the dance floor. The hits came in droves as Big Maybelle's "Ring Dang Dilly" oft overlooked Little Willie John's "Let Them Talk" " 5-10-15 Hours" by Ruth Brown, and R&B kingpin Ray Charle's"I Got a Woman" have remained signature R&B tunes to this day. Underscoring the heavy influence R&B wielded on the nascent Rock and Roll of the mid 50s, Big Maybelle and Little Willie John recorded arguably definitive versions of, respectively, "Whole Lot of Shakin' Goin On" and"Fever" well before the better-known Rock and Roll versions were set to wax. The meaning behind the name is this: the "Rhythm" part comes from the music's typical dependance upon four-beat measures or bars and employ a backbeat (beats two and four accented in each measure).In music,back beat(also backbeat)is a term applied both to a specific style of rhythmic accentuation with accent on even beats and those even beats.In a simple 4/4 rhythm,counted aloud as"1 2 3 4",this applies to the beats 2 and 4,as opposed to the odd downbeats,beat 1 and beat 3,also odd.As beat 4 immediately precedes a new bar in 4/4 rhythm,it is also termed upbeat.And the "Blues" portion came from the lyrics and melodies of the songs, which were often sad, or 'blue during the music's emergence in the World War II era. Over time the name was shortened to R&B as a matter of convenience. By the 1970s, Rhythm and Blues was also being used as a blanket term to describe Soul and Funk as well. And today, the term can be used to loosely define most sung African-American urban music, even though Soul and Funk can be placed in categories of thier own. As the end of the '50s drew near, R&B became increasingly smooth and made its move onto the pop charts, but its original grit and holler approach would become the driving force behind the soul music that would sweep the nation in the 60s.

Rhythm & Blues is a term used to describe the blues influenced form of music predominantly performed by African Americans since the late 1930s. The term 'Rhythm and Blues' was first introduced into the American lexicon in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The name's origin was created for use as a musical marketing term by Billboard magazine. In 1949, Billboard magazine reporter Jerry Wexler, (who later went on to become a music producer), created the term for Billboard to designate upbeat popular music performed by African American artists that combined Jazz and Blues. The "Rhythm & Blues" term was created to replace the designation "Race Music" which until then was the stardard catch all phase used in reference to most music made by blacks at the time. After the "Race Music" term was deemed offensive,Billboard began using the Rhythm & Blues moniker Wexler created. It is the name given to a wide ranging genre of popular music but which has subsequently had a number of shifts of meaning. The term was originally used by record companies to refer to recordings bought predominantly by African Americans, at a time when Urban,Rocking & Jazz based music with a heavy, insistent beat was becoming more popular. After this style of music contributed substantially to the development of Rock&Roll, the term "R&B" was then used from the 1960s particularly by white groups to refer to musical styles which developed from and incorporated electric Blues, as well as gopel and Soul music. By the 1970s, the term "Rhythm and Blues" was being used as a blanket term to describe Soul and Funk. Since the 1990s, the term "Contemporary R&B" is now mainly used to refer to a modern version of Soul and Funk influenced Pop music.

Contemporary R&B (also known as R&B ) is a music genre of Western popular music. Although the acronym “R&B” originates from its association with traditional Rhythm and Blues music, the term R&B is today most often used to define a style of African American music originating after the demise of disco in the 1980s. This newer style combines elements of Soul,Funk,Dance and from 1986 on with the advent of New Jack Swing branded R&B,Hip Hop.

The abbreviation R&B is almost always used instead of the full Rhythm and Blues term, although some sources refer to the style as Urban Contemporay (the name of the radio format that plays Hip Hop and ContemporaryR&B).

Contemporary R&B has a slick,electronic record production style,drum machine backed rhythms, the occasional guitar riff to give the song a rock feel, the occasional saxophone solo to give a Jazz feel (mostly common in R&B songs prior to the year 1993), and a smooth, lush style of vocal arrangement. Uses of Hip Hop inspired beats are typical, although the roughness and grit inherent in Hip Hop is usually reduced and smoothed out.

Examples of popular contemporary R&B artists include Usher, Beyonce Knowles, R. Kelly and Brandy.

Soul music is a popular style of music created by African American musicians that first gained a following during the 1950s. At that time, musicians like Ray Charles and James Brown blended familiar gospel singing with Rhythm and Blues to produce the first Soul music sounds. Some found this early music almost sacrilegious, as depicted in the biopic film Ray . To take gospel, one of the great African American contributions to Christianity, and use the singing style to talk about love, women, and good times, seemed to some a trifle risky.Yet these early Soul music stylings proved immensely popular. The familiar music of gospel that spoke to the soul was blended with early rock and roll and Rhythm and Blues. A number of record companies quickly jumped on the bandwagon of producing the increasingly popular soul music , and some companies were founded on their production of this musical form. While mainstream labels like Atlantic Records quickly signed Soul music artist Solomon Burke, new companies like Stax Records and Goldwax Records helped the popularity of Soul along by recording artists like Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, and James Carr.

By the 1970s, soul music had changed forms to incorporate more message-based music and also some of the stylings of psychedelic rock. One of the standout albums of this time period is Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On , which thematically deals with continued strife between races in America and the onset of the Vietnam war.Soul music also jumped to funk and disco styles. While singing styles remained similar, the more syncopated danceable beats of disco and funk left an indelible mark on Soul . The Commodores and Earth, Wind and Fire were two extremely popular bands of the disco movement, bringing soul music to the forefront of public attention and creating many mainstream hits.

White singers also began to capitalize on the popular Soul style, and their music , often called "blue-eyed soul " was appreciated. Of these bands, perhaps the best known is Hall&Oates, who became later better known for their 1980s new wave hits like “Private Eyes.” Many 1970-1980s bands were influenced by soul music and included full horn sections in their band ensembles. A band like Chicago could not exist without soul music influence. Soul music continues to exist in numerous forms, and old soul songs may be incorporated into Hip-Hop music or Rap. Vocal tracks by hip-hop artists like Mary J.Blige continue to combine gospel singing roots with contemporary music . Since Soul music continues to be a dominant singing form,it may be broken down into several Soul music genres.

Detroit Soul , Deep Soul and Memphis Soul all emerged in the 1960s. Artists in these early forms include Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross,Smokey Robinson,Otis Redding and Rufus Thomas. Philadelphia Soul is also an early form, usually incorporating large orchestra parts and performed by singers like Patti LaBelle. psychedelic Soul leaned heavily on late 1960s psychedelic rock and funk with soul vocals and was performed by bands like Sly&The Family Stone, and The Fifth Dimension. New Soul music of the 1990s and onward is often called Neo-Soul . While gospel singing roots are strongly in evidence, this music tends to have modern rhythmic expressions, such as those found in hip-hop.

Neo-Soul artists include India Arie, Alicia Keyes, Babyface, and Joss Stone.
